Ian Whiting - Chief Executive Officer and Founder

With 20 years of industry experience, Ian has helped leading global organizations and government agencies secure their systems and data for over a decade. He was accredited by CESG for his security assessments and team leading expertise. Ian provides the leadership and vision for Titania and its products.

On the weekends he loves spending time with family, watching motorsport and kayaking.

Nicola Whiting - Chief Operating Officer

As a successful entrepreneur Nicola ran an award winning jewellery design and training business, was a published writer and Chairwoman of the PMC Guild.  Since 2011, she has helped to take Titania from a three person start-up to one of the UK’s fastest growing companies. Industry experience includes providing document and asset management solutions and a wide range of guest speaking engagements.
Nicola’s role is oversight and empowerment of the leadership team along with general management of the company.

A PADI qualified diver, Nicola is drawn to the oceans and rivers. Her favourite pastimes are normally on or under the water, she especially loves kayaking with family and friends.

Vaughan Esprey - Chief Technical Officer

Vaughan heads up the development, testing and technical support teams. He has 41 years of experience in computing, 33 of which are in software development. 

“My main priority at Titania is channelling the creativity and enthusiasm within the teams, in order to deliver great products that just work. As a team we have the customer at the forefront of everything we do, whether it is developing a customer requested feature, tackling a technical query or developing a brand new product.” 

In his spare time he enjoys an eclectic array of hobbies including attending to his allotment and making stained glass windows.

Steve Phillips - Head of Finance

Steve is Head of Finance, overseeing the accounts team and all Group financial operations. MAAT qualified, he has nearly 40 years’ experience at all levels including FD.

“At Titania we make the invoicing and payment process as painless as possible. We work hard as a team, to deliver a friendly and efficient service without the red tape often involved in purchasing.” 

At the weekends he enjoys time with the family and a good cricket match.

Ruth Allsopp - VP of Operations & Operational M.D

Ruth has been part of the Titania team since opening offices 6 years ago and has experience in all areas of the business.

She works closely with her team and the CEO/COO to implement business strategy and support the Titania Leadership Team in the everyday running of the business. 

She has a First Class degree in English Literature and Creative Writing and has previously worked in events organisation/promotion, sales and marketing management, taking Titania to award winning success.

In her spare time Ruth is a Director of Worcester Literary Festival and is an advocate of creative writing programs for the next generation.

Shelley Gunnell - Head of Human Resources

Shelley is the Head of Human Resources and oversees the recruitment, training and benefit plans for the company. She has a Degree in Education and Psychology and is a CIPD qualified HR Practitioner with experience in both the public and private sectors. 

“We have created a supportive and positive culture here at Titania, knowing that to recruit and retain the best staff, we need to show them how valuable they are. Over recent years we have built one of the most comprehensive benefit packages in the industry, with special focus on the physical and mental wellbeing of our team.”

In her spare time Shelley enjoys cooking, going to music festivals and relaxes by practicing yoga.
